In the women's singles at the 2007 French Open, the two-time defending champion Justine Henin won her third consecutive French Open title without losing a set throughout the tournament. She defeated Ana Ivanovic of Serbia 6–1, 6–2 in the final. It was Henin's fourth and final French Open title overall.
The tournament saw the first appearances of two future World No. 1's: two-time Grand Slam finalist Caroline Wozniacki and two-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber.
