The 2017 EFL Trophy Final was a football match played at Wembley Stadium on 2 April 2017. It decided the winner of the 2016–17 EFL Trophy, the 33rd edition of the competition, a knock-out tournament for the 48 teams in League One and League Two and 16 Category One Academy sides.

It was played between Coventry City of League One and Oxford United also of League One. This was Coventry's first appearance in the final and the second for Oxford who were runners up the previous year. Coventry's win saw them pick up their first piece of major silverware since the 1987 FA Cup. The attendance was the 3rd highest in the cup's history, as well as being the highest since the closure of the Old Wembley in 2000.
