The Bajaur Scouts are a paramilitary unit of Pakistan's Frontier Corps, recruited locally in Bajaur Agency and officered by regular Pakistan Army officers. The Scouts were previously the Bajaur Levies, and served in the Bajaur, Swat, and Dir tribal areas. The unit came into formation in April 1961, drawn from several units of the Khyber Rifles and Chitral Scouts.
A Bajaur Scout Company is led by a Pakistan Army Captain, with a Promoted Lieutenant as Second-in-Command and a Pathan Subedar as the Company Sergeant-Major.
