Vyas, popularly known as Damauli, is a municipality and headquarters of Tanahun District in the Gandaki Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 42,899 people living in 11,321 households. It is regarded as one of the most well planned municipality of the country as the central town is divided by roads into blocks slightly resembling those of New York .

To Promote local culture Vyas has four FM radio station. That are Radio Bhanubhakta - 104.2 MHz , Damauli F.M - 94.2 MHz, Smart F.M - 89.4 MHz and Madi Seti FM 105.8 MHz Which fall under Community radio Station.
