Il burbero (The Gruff) is a 1986 Italian comedy film directed by Castellano & Pipolo.
Mary Cimino leaves by plane from America and reaches her husband lawyer in Italy, in Florence. During the flight, the woman clashes with the surly and handsome lawyer: Tito Torrisi, who is forced to help the girl when she arrives in Italy. In fact, she and her husband are persecuted by a gang of thieves, since the two were involved, without knowing it, in a robbery, and they have coincidentally the stolen goods.
