Jupiter radius (RJ or RJup) is the unit of radius equal to the total radius of the planet Jupiter (71,492 km (44,423 mi), 11.2 Earth radius; one Earth radius equals 0.08921 Jupiter radius). Jupiter radius is used to mainly describe the radii and extrasolar planets. It is also used in describing brown dwarfs.
