Kalachyovsky District (Russian: Калачёвский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-three in Volgograd Oblast, Russia. As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Kalachyovsky Municipal District. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,880 square kilometers (1,500 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Kalach-na-Donu. Population: 58,524 (2010 Census); 62,228 (2002 Census);53,058 (1989 Census). The population of Kalach-na-Donu accounts for 46.0% of the district's total population.
