The Kanyakumari Express is a superfast daily overnight service train operated by Southern Railway zone of Indian Railways.

This train runs between Kanyakumari and Chennai Egmore. It covers the distance of Chennai - Trichy in a very short time (5 hrs, 20 minutes) when compared to the Nellai Express. This was classified as a superfast train as the average speed of the train is greater than 55 km/h
