Middleton-on-Leven is a hamlet and civil parish in Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated next to the River Leven, close to the border with and 4 miles (6.4 km) south-west of Yarm. In the 2001 census, Middleton-on-Leven had a population of 97. At the 2011 Census the population remained at less than 100. Details are included in the civil parish of Rudby.
Half a mile to the north-west at Castle Hill is the surviving motte of Castle Levington.
