The Pakistan Muslim League (Urdu: پاکستان مسلم لیگ‎; known as PML), was the name of several former Pakistani political parties that dominated the Right-wing platform from 1960s until the 1999 Martial Law. The first Pakistan Muslim League was founded by President Ayub Khan in 1962 as a successor to the original Muslim League. Just a short period after its foundation, the party broke into two factions: Convention Muslim League that supported the President and the new Constitution, and the Council Muslim League, that opposed the new Constitution, denouncing it as undemocratic that made the Presidency an autocratic position. The CML itself broke down into several parties following the 1965 Elections such as: Muslim League (Qayyum) and Pakistan Muslim League (F).

Following President Ayub's resignation, Nurul Amin, a Right-wing political veteran, re-established the party, in an attempt to reunite the factions of Pakistan Muslim League. The party declined under the Bhutto-led Government, and many of its members joined the Leftist People's Party. After the 1985 Elections, the Pakistan Muslim League was re-founded by the Right-wing members of the Parliament, and the party actively provided the political sponsorship to President Zia's dictatorship. According to the left-wing writers, the party was supported by the Pakistan Armed Forces and the Inter-Services Intelligence. The party dissolved after a conflict between the two important party leaders: Muhammad Khan Junejo and Fida Mohammad Khan. The faction led by Junejo soon declined, while the Fida-led faction became the immediate successor of the Pakistan Muslim League.
