Rossville is a city in Shawnee County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,151.

Rossville was founded in 1871. It was named for William W. Ross, a Kansas reporter.

Rossville is located at 39°8′12″N 95°57′5″W / 39.13667°N 95.95139°W / 39.13667; -95.95139 (39.136559, -95.951255). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.61 square miles (1.58 km2), all of it land.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Rossville has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.

Rossville is part of the Topeka, Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.
