SpaceX CRS-13, also known as SpX-13, is a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station currently manifested to be launched in late 2017. The mission was contracted by NASA and is flown by SpaceX. It may fly a reused Dragon capsule like CRS-11.
In early 2015, NASA awarded a contract extension to SpaceX for three CRS additional missions (CRS-13 to CRS-15). As of June 2016[update], a NASA Inspector General report had this mission manifested for September 2017. In February 2017, this was rescheduled to late 2017.
NASA has contracted for the CRS-13 mission from SpaceX and therefore determines the primary payload, date/time of launch, and orbital parameters for the Dragon space capsule. According to a NASA Inspector General report of June 2016, CRS-13 is expected to carry 2,333 kg (5,143 lb) of pressurized mass and 977 kg (2,154 lb) of unpressurized cargo. According to a 2016 presentation, the external payloads manifested for this flights were ASIM, TSIS and MISSE.
