Raja Singh is a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Hyderabad representing the assembly constituency of Goshamahal. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party, and also occupies the position of party whip for Telangana.

Raja Singh is known for his right-wing activities and has had several cases filed against him. He has been arrested on several occasions.

On 3 February 2018, a case was filed against him for delivering a hate speech.
