Thawar Chand Gehlot (born 18 May 1948) is an Indian politician who serves in the Narendra Modi government as a Cabinet minister in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. He is a Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh. He represented the Shajapur constituency of Madhya Pradesh in the 11th, 12th, 13th & 14th Lok Sabhas (1996-2009) and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is a General Secretary of the BJP. Thawar Chand Gehlot is one of the prominent Dalit faces in BJP.
