Trooper is a census-designated place (CDP) in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,744 at the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.2 km2), all of it land.
As of the 2010 census, the CDP was 86.9% Non-Hispanic White, 2.2% Black or African American, 0.1% Native American and Alaskan Native, 6.8% Asian, 1.0% were Some Other Race, and 1.0% were two or more races. 3.2% of the population were of Hispanic or Latino ancestry.
As of the census of 2000, there were 6,061 people, 2,056 households, and 1,655 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,546.9 people per square mile (983.3/km2).
