WTPX-TV (channel 46) is a digital television station licensed to Antigo, Wisconsin owned by Ion Media Networks, serving the Wausau market as an Ion Television owned-and-operated station. The station's official studio facilities for the purposes of FCC communications are located in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale with the Milwaukee market's Ion station, Kenosha-licensed WPXE-TV.
Ion chose to run WTPX exclusively as a digital-only station upon its coming to the air in 2001, and held no analog license for the station. Thus, WTPX never had any digital transition channel, flash-cut or analog transition period.
