Twickenham School, formerly Twickenham Academy and before that Whitton School, is a co-educational secondary school located in Whitton, in the London Borough of Richmond, south-west London.
A £24m refurbishment to the school was completed in July 2013 and reopened by then Twickenham MP Vince Cable.
Assal Ruse, a former deputy at Waldegrave School, took over as Headteacher in April 2016, and the co-opted Chair of Governors is Claire Little.
Twickenham School is part of a family of local schools known as the Richmond West Schools Trust, which includes three other Richmond borough schools: Waldegrave School, Teddington School and Hampton High. The Trust is led by the executive Headteachers of Teddington School and Waldegrave School.

Admissions for Year 7, and in-year admissions, are managed by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, not by the school. Full details can be obtained from the School Admissions Department at Richmond Council.
The first school to be built on the site of Twickenham School was named Whitton School. It was established in 1959, to cater for boys from the former Kneller School and girls from Stanley Road School.
Whitton School became Twickenham Academy in 2010, under the governance of the Learning Schools Trust., and was subsequently re-built as part of the Government's academy rebuilding programme.
The governance of Twickenham Academy was transferred to the Richmond West Schools Trust in September 2016. Its name was changed to Twickenham School shortly afterwards.
