ZEN Department Store (Thai: เซน ดีพาร์ทเมนท์ สโตร์; Simplified Chinese: 先; Pinyin: Xiān) is an upmarket Thai department store chain with branches in Thailand and China, which is owned by Central Group. 28 June 2011
The upmarket ZEN department store chain was established in 1990 with its first branch as one of the anchors of the World Trade Center in Pathum Wan district, Bangkok. Now named CentralWorld, the shopping center underwent a major renovation in 2006, although it was destroyed in a fire on May 19, 2010. The CentralWorld branch is due to reopen on December 25, 2011. A second branch was opened in Shenyang, China at Joy City.
In 2013, CRC announced about close all store of ZEN department store in China.
In 2016, CentralWorld branch announced to close Bangkok store to foreigners.
